Nicholson on WMD

Emma Nicholson thinks that evidence of WMD will in due course be found:

A Liberal Democrat peer tonight insisted Saddam Hussein had been a “clear and present danger” and she was certain evidence of his weapons of mass destruction would be found.

Baroness Emma Nicholson said the captured dictator was a “huge threat” and had buried “huge boxes” of weapons in Iraq’s marshland.

She said the reversal of sanctions on Iraq meant Saddam had had billions of dollars to spend on WMD.

And he had many months to hide them during the build-up to war.
