What could be his reason? It’s this: ‘hegemony represented by an infantilised mouse and an infantilised duck’ – ‘the hegemony of the corporations’. In which case, the Hollywood movie presumably is also going down the tubes. Yup – ‘the little state department’, America’s ‘advance legions’.
On this basis, we’ll also have to give up on a lot of top-level sport, soft drinks, breakfast cereals, computers… you name it. Or, alternatively, George Monbiot could read a bit of Marx.
