Hazel Minn is a Burmese woman living in Hillswick in the Shetland Islands, with her sons Simon and Vincent. She is threatened with deportation back to Burma, and has been waiting for a decision on her case, without having been told anything by the Immigration and Nationality Directorate since December last year. Hazel Minn has been in Britain since 2002. She says:
I just don’t know how I can explain how I’d feel if I was told to go back. I can’t bear to think about it.
