Spiky, memorable, catchy

For a new edition of Sophie Hannah’s Selected Poems, what is called for is a new review. Nicholas Lezard duly obliges, writing:

… there is room for the spiky, memorable, catchy tunes of Sophie Hannah.

With complete objectivity I think I’ll second that. I can prove that it’s what I’ve long thought. After all, I’ve often made room for poems by Sophie Hannah here on normblog. See, for example, these: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5.
