Like Gaul the internet-reading community is divided into three parts. There are those who love Twitter, those who hate it, and those who are indifferent to it. I’m with John Simm:
Twitter has restored my faith in humanity. I thought I’d hate it, but while there are lots of knobheads, there are even more lovely people. It delights me how witty and friendly most people are.
I wouldn’t quite say ‘restored my faith in humanity’, which I hadn’t lost in any case, but you shouldn’t knock it till you’ve tried it.
